GMR Hospitality and Retail Limited (formerly known as GMR Hotels and Resorts Limited) registered under the Companies Act 1956 on September 08, 2008 under corporate Identity number U521001TG2008PLC060866 and having its registered office at GMR Aero Towers, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad, Hyderabad – 500 108, Telangana State.

The Company has two divisions namely Hotel Division and Hyderabad Duty Free Division.

Hotel Division:

The Company currently owns a five star rated hotel property viz. Novotel Hyderabad Airport Hotel, located amidst 5 acres area close to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, which is managed and operated by AAPC India Hotel Management Private Ltd., (Part of Accor Group) under the Novotel Brand under an arrangement with the Company.


Hyderabad Duty Free Division:

Hyderabad Duty Free Division of the Company is selling different categories of products on duty/tax free basis at the international terminals of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad, Hyderabad. The product line includes Liquor, Tobacco, Cosmetics, Perfumes, Confectionary, Souvenir and Fashion Accessories.


Mr. SGK Kishore

Mr SGK Kishore is an Electronics & Communications Engineer from Andhra University and holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay. A Rank holder during Engineering and a Gold Medalist during his Masters, Mr Kishore’s illustrious career spans over 30 years across Government and Private sectors.

A 1989 Batch Officer of the elite Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Mr Kishore has held several important positions with the Government of India in areas as diverse as District Administration, Social Justice & Empowerment, Labour Welfare, Finance, Consumer Affairs, Food Security and Urban Development.

Mr Kishore joined the GMR Group in 2006 where he was associated with the development & construction of Hyderabad Airport and later he led the Hyderabad Airport City business as the CEO, spearheading the positioning and development strategy of India’s largest Airport City project. In 2013, he took over as CEO of GMR Hyderabad International Airport with overall responsibility for the unique Hyderabad Airport Eco-system spanning the airport, the Airport City and various allied businesses. Under his leadership, Hyderabad airport has set milestones/benchmarks in growth, customer delight, operational excellence, technological innovations and environmental management as highlighted by the airport’s ranking as World’s No 1 in its size category in Airport Service Quality (ASQ) for the year 2016.

Mr Kishore is also a member on the boards of various companies within the Airport eco-system, driving strategy and decision making in varied businesses such as GMR Aero Technic which operates India’s most modern and one-of-a-kind 3rd Party aircraft MRO facility at Hyderabad Airport and the Hyderabad Airport Cargo JV with Menzies of UK. He is also an active member of the Governing Board of the Association of Private Airport Operators (APAO), India.

Mr. Rajesh Kumar Arora

Mr.Rajesh Arora is presently the Chief Financial Officer of GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd, which operates Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Hyderabad. He also serves as a Director on the Boards of GMR Hyderabad Aerotropolis Limited, GMR Hyderabad Aviation SEZ Limited, GMR Aerospace Engineering Limited, Hyderabad Menzies Air Cargo Private Limited and other GMR Group Companies.

He is a Cost Accountant and B.Com (H) from Delhi University, and has about 25 years of professional experience in the Manufacturing and Infrastructure sectors and has rich experience in Corporate Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Corporate Laws, etc.

In his previous profile at GMR, he was Chief Financial Officer-Joint Ventures & Corporate Integration for the Airport business of GMR Group. In this position, he made immense contribution to the Airports Sector, building robust relations with joint venture partners and contributed significantly towards increasing shareholder's value in these joint ventures. He has also played an important role in M&A activities of the Airports Sector.

Prior to joining GMR Group in 2007, Rajesh served in senior positions in Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals.

Mr. P. Vijay Bhaskar

Mr. P. Vijay Bhaskar (Former Executive Director of RBI), is an experienced Central Banker with 35 years of experience in policy formulation in RBI with close to 10 years of working at the top management level and is having international exposure as a member of important committees on International Finance. His areas of expertise include Banking and Non-Banking Regulation and Supervision, understanding of dynamics in Domestic and International markets, Risk Management in financial markets. His key strengths are knowledge of various financial products, regulatory environment in India and abroad, immense experience as policy maker and dissecting the market behaviour and reaction to various policy initiatives and global perspective on all domestic issues. He is well known in financial circles as an author of a book on derivatives and as head of various committees formed on very sensitive issues pertaining to the sector. He is also known to provide unique institution specific solutions for the issues within the regulatory framework. He was a nominee director of RBI in a leading public sector bank.

Mr. Mohammed Ismail

Mr. Mohammed Ismail, aged 66 years, holds Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Andhra University. He is an experienced entrepreneur with a focus on social class. At present, he actively participates and contributes in imparting primary education to children in rural areas. In order to impart and improve the education, he has adopted schools to improve successful school completion rate with incentives. He began his career in the year 1974 as a Junior Industrial Engineer of BHPV (Bharat Heavy Plate and Vessels) where he was responsible for development of time standards, systems, procedures etc. and thereafter an Assistant Engineer in the same organization he was actively involved in planning and monitoring of resources along with coordinating with inter and intra departments. During the period 1982-90 in the capacity of Manager in Flakt India Ltd. (ABB), he managed and executed several key industrial projects for Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. In these stints, Mr. Mohammed Ismail has been instrumental in increasing revenue in coastal Andhra region. Later, for about 10 years as an entrepreneur, he represented and implemented projects and representing projects for many multinationals.

With his unique blend of experience in management and leadership positions of more than 30 years in various sectors, he ventured in the business of property development and constructed apartment and complexes in Visakhapatnam, during 2000-2008.

Dr. Kavitha Gudapati

Dr. Kavitha Gudapati, aged 43 years, is an organizational psychologist having consulting experience over 10 years in India and Abroad. Her expertise lies in Career development and Counseling and Work - Life balance. She has a Doctorate in Management, specializing in Organizational Behavior and has Mastersdegree in Psychology along with a Post Graduate diploma in counseling skills. She has undergone Basic Human processes lab and Advanced Human processes lab under Indian Society for Applied Behavioral Science (ISABS). She is accredited Certified Coach by Results Coaching which is recognized by the ICF (International Coach Federation). She operates in the areas of Coaching in Personal / Life, Business, Executive and Workplace. She has over fifteen years of experience covering a wide range of industries and projects. She has consulted and trained with several organizations such as Bharath Dynamics Limited, VOLVO, DRDL, Deloitte, GE-Money, PWC, GMR, Dr. Reddy's, Satyam Computers, Airtel, BSNL, BAAN, Intelle Group, NavayugaInfotech, Cyberabad Police, Neospark etc. She has been involved in a long term executive development programs, long duration consulting projects in the area of customer perceptions and customer satisfaction, Women's initiative networks, Corporate Trauma, Consultant Counselor / Coach and Trainer. For five year, She has appeared on the ETV show Sakshi.

Points Accrual

  • Points accrual from first purchase onwards

  • No minimum purchase value for point’s accrual.

  • Accrued points are non-transferable and can be redeemed only against purchases at Hyderabad Duty Free outlets at Hyderabad International Airport.

  • Purchases made by Loyalty card holders’ family members & friends can also be accrued as points by mentioning the mobile number and confirming the member name by the purchaser

  • Purchases made by family and friends eligible for accruing base points only and not privilege points

  • Reward points will be calculated on the net purchase value

Points Redemption

  • Accrued Points can be redeemed next purchase onwards on Arrival/Departure store

  • Accrued points can be redeemed only against purchases made at Hyderabad Duty Free

  • Cash refund will not be given against point redemption under any circumstances

  • Accrued points shall be valid for a period of 18 months from the date of accrual & shall automatically lapse thereafter

  • Points can only be redeemed by the member on producing their registered passports in original

  • In case of renewed passport, old passport number should match with Hyderabad Duty Free CLUB HDF Loyalty database records

  • For any redemption the minimum purchase value is $15

  • Redemptions can be done for 100 points =$1. This is subject to change from time to time. Please check with cashier for the same at the time of billing.

Tier Upgrade

  • Tier review/upgrades will be done on 1st Jan every year considering the qualifying criteria over the preceding 12 months. The tier upgrade bonus points will accordingly accrue on 1st Jan of every year

  • For tier upgrade and accrual of associated bonus points, only purchase transactions made by registered members would be considered (i.e. transaction made by the family and friends will not be considered)

Other Terms & Conditions

  • The mobile number prefixed with the country code is the unique membership number

  • Email-id is mandatory to activate the membership while enrolling in the Loyalty program at the time of 1st purchase

  • By signing the enrolment form/invoice copy, members would provide consent to have read & accepted the terms and Conditions that govern the loyalty program.

  • Hyderabad Duty Free’s decision is final on all disputes related to the terms & conditions and offers

  • All disputes are subject to jurisdiction in Hyderabad courts only

  • Hyderabad Duty Free may suspend or terminate the loyalty program at any time without prior notice whatsoever.

  • Hyderabad Duty Free reserves the right to add, alter, amend and revise terms and conditions including redemption value as well as rules & regulations governing the Club HDF membership without prior notice

  • Benefits and offers available through the Program partners may change or can be withdrawn without prior intimation. Hyderabad Duty Free shall not be responsible for any liability arising out of such situations. Hyderabad Duty Free will also not be held responsible for any liability arising from use of such situations.

  • The membership can be revoked or refused if a member is involved in any act of fraud, shoplifting, cheating with or without cause and without notice

  • Once reward points are redeemed or lapsed they cannot be reinstated under any circumstances

  • The points cannot be exchanged for cash in part or full under any circumstances

  • By becoming a loyalty member, the customer authorises us to communicate, from time to time via SMS, Email, Telephone, etc. on contact details provided by the member

  • The points awarded on the loyalty program may vary and may exclude certain range of products or certain period of time

  • The loyalty program is for individual international passengers only. It is not a corporate/ group membership program

  • In case of change of mobile/ passport number, the member has to intimate Hyderabad Duty Free by sending an email to our customer service ( at least 10 days prior to the travel date along with required supporting documents for updation of members records

  • Employees of Hyderabad Duty Free and their immediate family member (spouse & children) are not eligible for this program
